Retro Fitting Carton Tunnel Freezers
Carton tunnel technology has been employed in processing plants since the late 60’s and for the majority of this time, tunnels were built with hydraulic lifts and simplistic operator interfaces. However, as the hydraulic lifting systems age they become erratic, messy and costly to maintain, requiring replacement hoses, couplings and hydraulic fluid, creating an inefficient liability... IBEX offers an innovative solution.
The IBEX Retro Fitting service, for existing carton tunnels removes the existing hydraulic lifting system, replacing it with the efficient TCS servo driven elevator and cradle system. During Retro Fitting, IBEX also analyze the existing refrigeration system in the carton tunnel.
The results of the analysis often identifies opportunities to improve efficiencies and optimize productivity.
