How Does the FP Electric Work?
The IBEX FP Series comprises of a low voltage DC motor that is mounted in the hand piece. This ultra small, yet extremely powerful motor is the heart of the drive system, running on low voltage DC power which comes via a local control box with an integrated e-stop, and control panel for added safety.
Joining the control box to the hand piece is a light weight and flexible, variable length electric cable (1.6m, 2.1m or 2.6m in length). The cable in the FP Series is also free from the costly inner flex shaft and outer casing.
Remotely, a transformer box converts the mains power to low voltage DC with the ability to operate up to 3 hand pieces simultaneously, ensuring that the initial capital cost is further minimized.
The FP Series converts the DC power through its powerful motor and planetary gearbox into a high torque output. The result; a low cost, precision Trimming System.
